No sure I'd have bought this if I had known then what I know now
9 von 10 finden das hilfreich The pros are it is cheap and it prints well. The quality of the photo scans was good. It's fairly easy to set up if none of the lights start blinking.
The cons are as follows:
It's noisy.
According to the instructions it was supposed to come with a set-up CD for the software, but it doesn't so you have to find the installation software online and download it.
It doesn't come with a usb cord to connect the printer to your computer. That's a separate cost.
It has a system of blinking lights to indicate problems with the ink, paper, etc. There are at least a dozen different light patterns and that can be confusing because you have to count how many times a light blinks (and which combination of 4 lights are blinking) and then look it up in the manual.
I bought this to also scan and I have a large photo scanning project ahead. The scanning software doesn't allow you to name your image after you scan it. Therefore, you have to go back to the folder where you scanned it to and name it. Not efficient.
I have a particular unresolved problem in that mine is not recognizing the ink cartridges (but they are new and full) and the ink alarm lights keep blinking. It will print in B/W but the color only prints in blue.
All in all rather a disappointment. I have a better one, an HP inkjet, that is intuitive, easier to use, better built, and quieter, but it is no longer compatible with Windows 10.
