An excellent recording
Here is the complete soundtrack for the film "Tonight We Sing". Pinza knew the role of Boris in Russian but only got to sing it in Italian at the Met. Unlike the film, this recording has two excerpts complete and without talk-overs.
The CD does erroneous list Pinza as singing Sharpless' few lines in the BUTTERFLY scene but it's not him nor does this appear in his discography.

A forgotten baritone revived
Badini is hardly represented on reissues except for the DON PASQUALE with Schipa. Pity as he was a very fine baritone. The extras on this disc are excellent.

These get 5 stars because of the internal timer. Much better than light sensors. Look great.
