Good glue priced right
Easy to work with, and holding my fletching tight. As a beginner, before ordering I read on a non-commercial site that this brand is preferred for feather fletching. Was happy to find it at such a reasonable price.

Great safety device for those of us who ride past cell phone range!
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I often ride horseback outside of cell phone range. Stripping this small device onto my belt when my horse and I ride out alone gives me a great sense of security. The message options are perfect, allowing me to: check in with family, request help from family without alerting 911, or tell family that I'm running late but OK and will be back when I get there. I also like the fact that even the SOS function allowed me to pre-program additional information -- in my case the contact info for local Sheriff substation first responder for the remote area where I usually ride, as 911 in our this tri-county area often contacts the wrong county and their maps do not overlap. I also inserted info there about my gender, age, and the fact that I'm an equestrian who often rides alone.
I purchased the $13 rescue reimbursement insurance, but opted out of the extra $40/year tracking every ten minutes button subscription. Tracking via a handheld gps navigator provides a much better bread-crumb trail, which I can share after arriving home from a big adventure.
As the GEOS motto says: "Live to tell about it!" -- and the basic $100/year subscription provides that plus peace of mind for both adventurer and family.
Even when riding with buddies, I well remember an occasion some years ago when we would have gladly paid the $100 to be able to tell family "running late, but OK" when it turned out that our safest choice was a much longer ride than planned to avoid getting stuck after dark on a narrow ledge mountain trail. We chose the safe, but much longer valley return, while families worried about our failure to get to a phone until long after dark. That safest choice would have been far easier if we had just been able to tell families that we were "Running late, but OK."
I don't trust the belt loop case that comes with the Spot 2, as the tiny velcro closure came open several times while riding. So I now use a small digital camera case, which has just enough room for spare batteries underneath the Spot 2 -- a must, since Spot 2 has no battery meter.
I'm very happy to have this pro-active safety device strapped to my belt whenever I ride -- a totally reasonable and easy investment that makes my chosen sport much more safe.
