Yamaha 1WS-F84A8-V0-00 - 30 L TOP CASE

Top of the line Top Case
I wanted to add additional storage to my Zuma and wanted to stay with a Yamaha branded accessory. Although it is branded as a Yamaha the underside is also stamped SHAD, another recognized name in motorcycle luggage. My guess is Shad manufactured the case for Yamaha. The case is very well built and very sturdy. I purchased the optional mounting plate which allows the case to be taken on or off the bike in only a few seconds, with no tools if you want to ride without it. It does not come with the mounting plate which is sold separately. Neither Yamaha or Shad marketed a backrest pad for this top case. After doing some research I found the GIVI E176 backrest and purchased it. That backrest was nice and soft and fit like it was made for it. The only issue I have with it is that it’s a little larger than I wanted but like I said, you can easily remove it if you want to. Probably a better fit for the SMAX and XMAX but it works and looks great on my Zuma.

Tight fit but works well.
Worked great to direct my dryer exhaust away from my house. It didn't exactly fit into the 4" PVC pipe coming out of my wall and I had to use a sander to make it fit in but in the end it worked out like I wanted. I inside diameter of the pipe was supposed to be 4" and the outside diameter of this air vent was also supposed to be 4" but one of the two was a little off.

Heads fall off.
Cheap product, the heads fall off when you tighten them down on the plate. Once they're off, they can not be re-attached. If you really want to use then I would suggest putting a fender washer on the reflector side before you attach them to your plate or they're pulling right through the hole. Over all, I'd look at other options.
