A compressor to love.
This is a nice compressor if you don't like heavy handed compressors. It compares with the venerable Cali 76 which l own. I've had other brands, some highend pedals and rack units. Some of those compressed as designed but added a tonal darkening or added unwanted noise. Others just seemed overly complicated. Others just didn't seem to do much or sucked the liveness out of the sound. The Cali (with trany option) is very clean, adds little noise and just makes sense i.e. ease of use. Really nice, but big and expensive. The Pettyjohn Crush is less athoritive, more subtle and adds a wonderful sheen wile not being heavy handed. If you've got the$ and space, go with the Cali; especially if you really want to get into the heavy side of compression. However, if you want to control peeks while adding a nice sheen with modest space and power requirements, l can't see anyone not liking this alot. I leave mine on all the time. Run after an overdrive. I dig nice pedals. This is a keeper.

Are these $200.00 plus dollar boots?
0 von 1 finden das hilfreich The simple answer is no. I think these boots are on par with boots costing half this much. Are they crap? No. But for $200.00 plus dollar boots l want some wow factor. Also, be advised; these boots run small and have a very traditional, narrow toe box. Nothing special here. A Chinese made Keen would be preferable to these. I'm sorry to sound harsh, but these are the facts as l see them. Have a look at some of the newer ideas for tactical, wide toe box boots for true comfort. Hope this helps in your search for the perfect boot. I'm still in search for mine. Happy hunting, Russ

Very useful
This is to me the perfect pedal. It's quiet, sounds very natural, simple to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do-nothing less & nothing more. I leave it on almost always, with the "brown" selector switch ingaged. This feature is in essence a diminished, slightly darkened decay. This to me sounds very realistic.
