Great apartment speaker

I cannot tell this speaker is refurbished. I also can’t think of a negative for the speaker itself. There is a lot said about the advertised battery life only being true at fifty percent volume. That gave me hesitation, but in practice, I don’t even turn it up to fifty percent and it is playing at a level I’m comfortable with in my apartment. After admitting that, I will forego the detailed audio analysis. I have settled mostly on extra bass mode. You get regular mode and then two alternate play styles with extra bass and live mode. I like having the choice and hearing songs I’ve heard a hundred times before, but presented differently. The Music Center app works mostly, but Sony has left their name off of it for good reason. There is no explanation to the settings so I’m still unsure as to what else the app can do. Also, not all that important, but the blue is more of a true blue than I expected, which is nice. It looked almost aqua to me on YouTube. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would/will buy again.
