English Grammar for Students of French, 6th Edition : The Study Guide for Those

Excellent explanations of French grammar from an English language perspective.

Not the current edition (this 6th, but there is a 7th), but that doesn't matter as this edition has excellent content. An important explanatory book dealing with French grammar from an English perspective. My knowledge of English grammar is excellent, but this book helps to explain differences between grammar concepts in English and those in French. If your English technical grammar is weak, this book is all the more useful. Probably not suitable for high school students just starting out in French, but suitable for those with a year or two under their belt. Suitable for all adults. I never thought I would have any use for it, but indeed it has proven very useful.

Stylish and functional

Not cheap, but cheaper than the overpriced others. Perfectly proportioned in terms of vertical and horizontal dimensions, thickness, tap arrangement and placement. The only one I found with sufficient reach across the basins (others are horizontally too short to get decent water flow into the centre of the basin). Perfection in aesthetics, design and practicality. So good that I have bought a spare for some other time.
