I'm not an engineer, just an average (observant) Joe. With that disclaimed:
Pros: Not only are these bracket kits custom made for Spal fans, they are made of quality, sturdy metal, which can be (carefully, and creatively) bent to fit the radiator. The provided hardware (screws and locking nuts) seem to be made of aluminum, which will not corrode.
Cons: When bending, the black coating flakes off, exposing unprimed bare metal. I recommend re-coating them after bending to prevent possibility of corrosion. The (aluminum?) screws and nuts are soft, and can easily be stripped if overtightened, may want to replace with better quality hardware.
