It's extremely well done.
More like a piece of jewelry than a model. I build a lot of plastic models and this one is a perfect complement as a standout "shelf model." It's not going to have the interior detail that a commercial plastic it will have, but it is still very very attractive. I especially like the magnets that attach the main landing gear to the model itself.

How could they possibly get this wrong?
Generally speaking, hobby Master makes the pretty good product for diecast models. The one they make a mistake, it's a Whopper. 2 mistakes and point relating to there 1 / 48 Mustangs.
The P-51 B model of Shangri-La, one of the iconic 8th Air Force Fighters of World War II, has a P-51D wing on it. The shape of the wing is somewhat different from that of the B model, and what's worse, the wings feature not the two guns per wing in the B model but the three guns per wing in the D model. Anybody knowing anything about this aircraft can see immediately that this is grossly wrong.
They just managed with the issuance of this model to make the same mistake, but in reverse. Under the wing there are ejection shoots for three guns, but Hobby Master put the kit out with two guns per wing. Again, even though the colors scheme is really faithful to the original, anyone looking at this aircraft model with a knowledgeable eye can immediately say that the model is grossly wrong. The area sticks out like a sore thumb.
I arranged for a return of the model the minute I took it out of the box and saw the wings. You should do likewise. Hobby Master should recall this model and fix it.

NICE SHELF MODEL WITH SOME WORK.
With a little bit of sprucing up and minor corrections this builds up into a nice shelf model, but I wish the wing join were better engineered (Locating rods in wing roots, as with horizontal stabilizers in the tail). I also feel there should be SOME cockpit derail, and an authentic cockpit interior color, rather than black.
