Prehistoric Epic
With an incredible story told through visceral animation, Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal is like a comic book brought to life, transporting audiences to a surreal, mythic prehistory. Think One Million Years BC but with all the limitations of live action removed. The characters of Spear and Fang are well portrayed and you feel for them when danger escalates. The central themes, which I won't spoil, are conveyed visually and with just the right nuances and atmosphere for anyone to understand. This is what more adult animation should strive for.

The 4K blu ray arrived sealed and unopened as specified, and played with minimal issue. The movie is an entertaining 3.5/5 but the improved presentation raises the product's quality
