Far Superior to Plastic Clones
Far superior to the plastic versions offered from other manufacturers. Far superior!

Use extreme caution when installing - or else!
I have forty nine years of mechanical experience working on vehicles. This part is ridiculously expensive for what it is: a plastic casing with a spring and rubber diaphragm on a thin metal pivot inside. The part is apparently made to just snap together - and poorly at that! It easily comes apart (my part popped apart while tightening the one screw that holds it in place), Once apart will not go back together and stay together.
Worse: If you're a do-it-yourselfer and this thing pops apart you're on your own. The dealer I bought it from won't replace it - even if defective! The retailer I bought it from says that free replacement is only for Honda certified dealers!
Very hard to believe a Honda-made part is so poorly engineered. I'm back to square-one and out $65.00 (On Sale!)

Easy to replace in my UPS.
Easy to replace in my UPS. Directions were printed on the back of the UPS. Five minutes later everything was back to normal after the old batteries finally died.
