Don’t know— couldn’t read it
Unfortunately, this probably was a good book but due to the mildew damage I didn’t even read the book. I came down with a nasal infection a day after opening the package.

Great for beginners
This is a fine book but not great. Of course, all of us have to start somewhere when learning about a subject. For those that are mildly curious about Irish history this book can be a good resource. But it tells its history through pictures and snippets in alphabetical order. So the history is quite scattered and not at all good for narrative. For beginners this is a recommended book. For people that want a bit more substance, skip this.
