Good for King Klik T40
I bought this jaw set on spec based only on the picture in the hope that it would fit my King Klik T40. It looked promising when I assembled it.
That was in April this year but I only managed to use it for real last week. That is why I have only just posted my review.
For its first (and so far only) outing I used it to crimp up 12 x M4 aluminium nut rivets.
Although this is a more arduous task than 'pop riveting' the jaws performed perfectly.
The jaw set comes with a replacement spring but not an anvil.
The Laser Tools spring is made with thinner wire than the King Klik but I assembled it using the Laser Tools spring anyway to see how it went and used the original King Klik anvil.
As noted above it worked very well but it was a bit difficult to extract the mandrel from the riveter after riveting. This could be due to the additional pressure from compressing the longer spring into the King Klik barrel.
I have since reassembled the riveter with the original King Klik spring but have not had chance to use it yet.
I would recommend these jaws to anyone who needs new jaws for their King Klik T40 and presumably they would work just as well or even better in the Laser Tools riveter that they are specified for.
