Essential material on L&Y locomotives
A really complete and accurate source of information on L&Y locomotives. It fills a large gap in loco information, especially the pre-grouping period. There are pages of excellently reproduced photos and drawings.
If you can find one , buy it!

Flimsy
Bought as a direct replacement for an existing item. The aerial connection broke off inside the casing when connected for the first time. Same fault as the original item, so great care was used, to no avail. The connector is apparently only supported on the solder tag connections inside, and cannot cope with a co-axial plug being inserted.
Can be replaced with much better quality items.
