why on earth they have squeezed 16 megapixels into same small sensor ???

This is a good camera, - the biggest surprise is how Sony could have managed to squeeze into such relatively tiny body all the modern hi-tech features, toys and gadgets + a 16x zoom. The very signigicant "con" I must mention : noise reduction is TOO active and can well make your photos way too soft and having a "painted" look. Photograph at the lowest ISO possible and try to use camera outdoors preferably on sunny days only. This is how you'll be getting great pictures with Sony DSC-HX9V. (Though "Super intelligent mode" can indeed help you with making very passable pictures in twilight.) In one of the reviews (sorry, but the rules applicable here prevent me from mentioning the exact link) I've seen a collection of "sample images" from this camera, which looked absolutely great, - and persuaded me to buy it. After having used a camera for abt. dozen times now, - I cannot but wonder how these pictures could've come from DSC-HX9V... Either they came from some other body or one should constantly practice with this camera before his own shots start at least to resemble these ones...

Useful and convenient device of quite a good quality

I like Patona products in general, - and this latest generation of "yellow chargers" is not an exception : these chargers are a fun to look at, portable, sufficiently robust, easy to use and quite convenient (you can see, at a glance, the percentage of charge achieved at any given moment.) The price vs quality ratio seems fair, also there are many ways one can use the charger, - even simultaneously charge other device (your phone) while charging the battery, or use it in a car (the required additional cable is provided.) All in all, - I can honestly recommend this device.
