A great tool for do-it-yourself types

I have not contacted Foxwell yet, it seems there is an issue displaying freeze frame data associated with a DTC. However this unit did provide far more detailed live data than is available with a standard OBD II reader. I found this detailed live data invaluable when troubleshooting a 2006 Honda Civic. This unit also reads many other modules that an ODB reader will not. I have not tested all of the functions (yet). This is not a tool for a professional but if you are an owner who likes to repair your own vehicles this unit is a good value in my opinion. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

If you already own a 1X sight but want or need some magnification this is way to go.

A quality L3 Eotech instrument. The glass is clear without distortion. My eye was unable to detect any light loss through the magnifier nor any overall color shift. New they come with a mounting spacer and two sets of 10-32 screws (long and short). Using the spacer the magnifier lines up with Eotech holo sights. Without the spacer the unit lines up with Aimpoint Comp M4 sights. The flip to side mount is nice, no buttons to push, just flip it out of the way. The quick release makes it easy to move the magnifier from platform to platform (also easy to remove for standalone use as a monocular). If you already own a 1X sight but want or need some magnification this is way to go.
