Get the real thing!
Buying Birkenstocks from Germany assures me that I am getting the genuine product. These are my go to sandal. Once you know your size, you can count on them to be consistent. Important when you can't try a shoe on. Mine always arrive in less time than estimated so wait time isn't an issue. I usually get at least 2 summers of wear out of sandals. They are excellent support for people with high arches or plantar fasciitis.

Foodies will enjoy this book.
Interesting read for foodies. I liked how nothing was wasted in the kitchen and how simple the ideas were. This book is more about the art of cooking well without running to the store every day, than a cookbook.
