A much better slide
This is a great design, which allows the player to pick from among 4 plastic inserts, based on ring size. This then holds the slide on the ring finger, and allows the brass slide to pivot on the insert, so that you can use the ring finger to play individual notes and chords, then pivit to slide playing, then pivot back.
It’s about the most flexible design of slide that I have ever seen, and definitely one I am quite happy to have!

The right knobs for any Strat with 1/4” split shaft pots
These are genuine Fender knobs, which fit US/Mexican guitars, and in my case guitars from elsewhere which have been upgraded with CTS or similar potentiometers with 1/4” split shafts.
They fit perfectly (can’t say that about trying to put 6mm knobs on 1/4” split shafts as the 1/4” is actually 6.35mm and thus your import-sized knobs are too tight to fit on the 1/4” split shafts.
So: if you have a US or Mexican Strat, or if you upgrade your import (Squire) Strat, these knobs are the only ones worth bothering with.

Vintage dimmer gets the job done
This is an older design of remote control dimmer, which uses infrared light to communicate between the remote control and the dimmer switch. As such, there are limitations in terms of having to have a clear line-of-sight between remote and dimmer, and a distance limitation. (I will note that a strategically-placed and aimed mirror can allow you to get around corners and obstacles). The limitations are why Lutron has moved to radio waves for their newer models.
In my case, I already had Lutron dimmers of this type installed in my home. Since the actuation is line-of-site, the same remote can control multiple dimmers, as long as they are separated by enough distance. That’s why I was particularly interested in this unit, and it is working perfectly for me.
