Better than CTS
The Bourns feel firmer than CTS when turning. I like that because I'm less likely to accidentally move the volume pot on a Stratocaster while playing.

Amazing sound
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I like the 1st one so much I bought another. Outstanding master and pressing "sonic beauty" is true. The recording is mic'ed very well and sounds great considering it's age. The vinyl is dead quiet and the LP is perfect flat.

The go to scope for the tough jobs.
The 2430 was and still is in some engineering departments the scope that gets called on for the "tough" jobs that non storage scopes can't handle. I'm talking about when you are looking for a signal that only occurs once or once in a while like an "error" or "fault" signal and you want to trigger on it and then see the state of ch 1 and 2 after trigger occurs. If you try that with a normal scope you will trigger, but never see the trace. The 2430 has the same great Tektronix toughness and user interface, plus parts and manuals are still available as well. The Tek CRT is legendary for reliability and clarity. There are cheaper scopes available, but none are up to Tek standards and are as reliable for day in and day out use.
