It is very well built, and I tried it on a few trees. I had trouble with the bark being pulled off. I found it easier to just put the log chain around the tree twice. I will probably try using it again and might like it, but if I knew what I do now, I would not have bought it, or would have bought the smaller size. I think a smaller one for smaller trees would be good. Log chains slip off of smaller trees. This one is too big to use on smaller trees. I cannot complain about the price as the price is reasonable.
