Great recording from a guitar great
I have long liked Larry Carlton's work, hearing it first via The Crusaders' records in the 1970s and (without knowing it at the time) several Steely Dan records of that period. He also played on some Joni Mitchell records of the 1970s to great effect. His subsequent solo music has been more variable in my view, but this recording is a lovely cross between rock, blues and jazz, with original compositions and superb playing.

A fantastic first solo release. I have been a fan of the Doobies and Steely Dan since about 1973, and so have known Skunk's work since then. This album is a treat.
