To good to be true.
This was a good priced replacement part and an exact match for make and model. However, it is slightly different than OEM. It's a little longer and the filler spout is "clocked" differently than the holes in the body. It would not bolt up without drilling new holes which I wouldn't have minded but the gas cap wouldn't even fit in the opening. The metal was too small, you could force the cap into the hole but you couldn't turn it to make a seal. Product did look nice just wouldn't fit properly.

Wish I knew sooner.
Do you have a good fuel pump but your gauge doesn't work? Do you want to keep the original connections on your vehicle and not have to cut the plug off to use an aftermarket pump assembly. This is exactly what you need. I have a W body car and I have an access plate in the truck against the back seat. I payed down the seat lifted up the trunk carpet and did the job from there. This is the second one I've done this way, I did have to bent the floor out of the way a little to gain enough room to get the ring past but anyways this item is located on the side of the fuel pump assembly and you unplug it from the side, unplug the fuel pump and unplug the wire connection at the top. Everything is plug and play, install opposite of removal and your gauge is as good as new without all the pain in the rear. Best part is you're not throwing out a OEM pump just because of the sending unit. Will definitely be buying more for my other vehicles.

Fixed it!
One day out of the blue my generator wouldn't start. I ordered this part which was easy to install and it fired right up. Appears to be working as it should now.
