Been looking forward to seeing this movi...

Been looking forward to seeing this movie again. One of the truly great Westerns with a great deal of historical fact. The title character depictions are spot on with a very nice comedic touch when appropriate. Only caveat is that the disc is used and there is a scratch at about the 80% point of the film playing time which causes the DVD player to hang up. Have to skip the end of the chapter to complete the movie.

Great picture...bad implementation!

Had the same set up problems as others stated. Used ethernet, which the device would not recognize as active, set up was in a loop for ten-twenty attempts. Switched to WiFi and, voila!, the device began setting up! Switched back to ethernet (have a rather slow ISP and ethernet helps) and the device suddenly 'recognized' the input... another respondent cautioned to 'be sure the latest firmware was downloaded' but neglected to state how to do this when the device won't connect to the internet. BTW, had to do all this via a direct to TV input since my 2016 Bose SoundTouch 130 system doesn't recognize the HDCP 2.2 HDMI signal. Bose is notorious for being stuck in last technology during new equipment development. Their solution? Throw away your $700 system and upgrade to a $800 system! Also found the remote to be VERY non-intuitive and difficult to use. Obviously Apple has a 'Nerd Reject' group somewhere who are intent on punishing Apple loyalists...

Apple Gets It Right...Sorta

Had a Generation 2 Apple TV which was adequate however Roku offered MANY more streaming choices. EVERY other streaming device did... Bought this Apple TV to use AirPlay and HomeKit with a Philips Hue system. Very pleasantly surprised by Apple’s accessibility to other streaming Apps via the Apple store. And Apple now ‘Plays nice’ with Amazon which is not reciprocated when searching to purchase an Apple TV on Amazon. Petty, Bezos, petty. Apple still buffers a portion of videos before playing, something which other set top boxes don’t. Why? To the average non-tech person it appears that there is a problem with accessing content, which is not the case, evidently. Remote is non-intuitive requiring re-learning basic functions. It is TOO small for adult use! Setup was a pain because the device would not recognize any of my Ethernet addresses and provided cryptic, unhelpful, error messages. Finally resorted to using WiFi for initial setup and then switching to an Ethernet connection. Went smoothly from that point.
