Minolta Dynax 9
3 von 4 finden das hilfreich Having used Minolta 35mm slr cameras for many years, moving up to the Minolta Dynax 9 was a natural progression, people always want the top of the range model, no matter what their level of experience-i am no different.
The camera itself is beautiful- operationally and in design/finish.
The very popular '2 control dials(front and back)' set up has been taken from the earlier 700si and 800si models which had a big following, the camera back layout and top plate dials have been transferred almost directly from the 600si classic- another amazing camera with a cult following, the result is a camera that is instinctively easy to use, so easy in fact, a manual isn't even required for those used to Minolta AF cameras.
The front and back control dials control aperture and shutter speed, the two top plate dials control exp and flash compensation and exposure mode and drive modes.
On the back of the camera is auto exposure lock linked with metering mode selection(spot, center-weighted and 14 segment multi-pattern all user selectable) and flash mode selection.
There are 21 custom functions, very fast motor drive, mirror lock up, viewfinder blind, dof-preview etc etc.
There is no need to go into the full specification of this camera because it is available to see online, to cut a long story short i will say-it is very comprehensive including the highest maximum shutter speed available on any camera bar 1-(Minolta dynax 9xi) and the highest standard flash sync speed of any camera bar 1-(Minolta dynax 9xi).
The build quality of the camera is breathtaking, all metal dust and weather sealed design, this camera is very heavy and designed to take professional abuse.
Compatible with all Minolta af lenses, but some lenses may not work fully when using flash, due to the newer flash metering technology in this camera(the individual lenses compatibility would have to be checked prior to use or purchase.
VC-9 vertical control grip available(but expensive and hard to find)
The automatic exposure results from this camera, are as you would expect of a pinnacle film slr just about as close to perfect as you could possibly get, when in an auto or semi auto mode, i haven't had any bad exposures at all.
As the top of the Minolta AF slr range, i cannot recommend this camera enough-it is fantastic and regarded by many as in the top two 35mm slr cameras ever made along with the Nikon f6. It is currently unbelievable value for money but prices are starting to rise again, so be quick if you want one in good condition).
