Excellent value, a few flaws
For a case that lets you use the built in Surface stand you can't go wrong with this. The case is easy to install and remove, and while I haven't dropped it yet feels sturdy enough. The carrying strap is a nice feature that I haven't seen in other cases. Stowing the pen is a bit of a strain but I'm confident that it won't fall out. Also the case does have vents so if you're using a fan model you're set.
I've had no issues with the USB ports not having enough space as in other reviews; what I do have is the power port cutout not being long enough so the connector will easily pop out in one orientation if you so much as brush the cable - the other will keep it secure. Also, the bottom lip of the case will go wobbly if you aren't using a type cover; although given the limited space between the stand and the type cover port that's to be expected.
