Dislikes Towards the 360...

What I do like about the XBOX 360 (any version) is the gamertag and avatar. I also like the ease of the Netflix App compared to disk read apps on other systems.I like the Facebook app but wish more could be done to it. I also like the Halo Waypoint App.
DISLIKES:
I dislike the fact you have to pay for a gold account just to use your Netflix account which is available for free on other systems. I dislike the fact you have to purchase a wi-fi adapter for your 360 when it comes with the other systems for free. I dislike you have to have a gold account in order to play other people online while on other systems the online game play is free. Overall, I dislike you pay the price you do for this system compared to others without these options and your 360 fails; leaving you with limited option. You only get a 1 year warranty which hardly covers the 360s design and flaws and waiting for a repair or new system takes sometimes months.
I dislike the design flaw and the efforts to fix it. The 360 has many versions and as they put a new one out, they come up with "solutions" that supposedly fix the overheating issue. First of all. Most people that own and have had the RROD, get the E74 error. This error and neighboring error codes that show up are because of the GPU overheating. I have seen over time the attempts by Microsoft to fix this and all they are doing is continually upgrading the heat sinks on the CPU Chip. That's Not the problem. The problem is the GPU chip. The one under the DVD drive. With limited room to fit any other size heat sink in there or different material heat sink, I don't know how they plan on fixing the problem unless redesigning it and charging you basically the full amount on the new design so they can afford the costs of production. To get it repaired, they go without their system for long periods of time just to be told it can't be fixed, it can but just repairs it to factory; bad design state further awaiting another overheat. The inter-cooler came out afterwords and that's just a visual assurance it's going to cool your system. The inter-cooler does not work. If it does, it's the stability of your system that matters. Not the fan.
As you can tell from my review, the dislikes out-way the likes by a long shot. Overall. A fluke. Bad system with limited support and the inability to fix the problem. People all over the world have wasted and were tricked to spend money on what they thought was a reliable system. If you are a Halo addict and love it that much, this system is for you. You just better be ready to pay through the teeth and spend a lot of time WAITING TO PLAY HALO while your going through all the red tape. lol
