SEYMOUR DUNCAN SHPR-1 P-Rails Black NECK AND BRIDGE PICKUPS P/P POTS & SWITCH

Good value in a versatile pickup

I like the P Rails pickups quite a bit, overall. There are better sounding P90s, humbuckers and rail pickups available, but to have all 3 options (4 with the right switching) on a single guitar allows for an amazing amount of musical versatility. To my ear the P90 coils sound best, and there are useful tones to be found in all of the other coil combinations under the right conditions. Even if there were only a two coil combinations that were useful, that would still represent a great value. I found the height adjustment to be critical in getting the best tones from them, and also highly recommend the Seymour Duncan Triple Shot mounting rings for maximum versatility.
