Yamaha R6
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This was a great price but most importantly it gets the job done. On other bikes I have had no problem with cup wrenches over the oil filter but on the R6, it just spins around the filter due to the shallow flutes. And Yes, it was the correct cup for a R6 oil filter! Next I tried wrapping an old inner tube round the filter and turning by hand but this didn’t work. I then ordered a strap wrench but didn’t have the clearance to use it. When this tool arrived I was close to plan Z but thankfully it worked! I also used it to nip up the new filter. Whoever fitted the previous one made it way too tight.

Stylish and great value
Purchased for elderly parent who’s day / date watch failed. She likes the clear white background which is easier to read the hand positions than the gold background watch she had before without being any bigger. It’s nicely styled too although the date is very small at the 6 o clock position, this may be difficult to see. The day function that arches across the top is easier to see. Before the watch arrived I assumed the strap would need to be changed (as you surely can expect only so much for less than a tenner) but even that is quite nice and comfortable from day one.

Essential tool for fork rebuild
Rather than succumb to buying this which is after all a threaded rod, I tried various other options to reduce cost. I wrapped wire round the plunger rod to hold it up but that didn’t work. I tried to make my own but struggled to find a M10 “fine” joint extension from fastener specialists. A simple nut won’t do it and just try gluing two together! So, I gave up, bought this tool and finished the job. A simple but essential tool in summary.
