Great looking blocks & patterns.
I bought the book for my wife. I don't think she has tried any of the patterns yet, but I could tell by the comments she was making as she leafed through the book that she was very impressed with a lot of the blocks and patterns that she saw.

Great disc player
I don't get a chance to use it a lot, but I use it to practice listening with my cochlear implant and it works very well. I mainly play audio books on it. My only con is that I wish the button labels were easier to read. They've been stamped into the light colored ring of the player and I find them very hard to see which is which.

Great TV watching accessory.
I have owned two of the HD DVD recorder/players. Lots of times there are 2 shows that we like that happen to be aired at the same time. With the antenna being hooked to both the TV and the Magnavox recorder it is very easy to record one show on the Mag and watch the other show on the TV. With the Mag having it's own tuner, we can set it up to record various channels when we're gone for the weekend. And if we want to save something to disc it's very easy to do so.
