JBL - Xtreme Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black - BRAND NEW SEALED

JBL speakers are great! But...

I love JBL speakers, especially Bluetooth speakers. I've purchased many as gifts, as well as one great Soundbar SB450 for my own use. This JBL Extreme Bluetooth speaker is absolutely a great product when used in standalone mode. Unfortunately, it was not at all suitable for my only use: "to be linked with my JBL Soundbar SB450" so I can listen to what was playing at a lower floor. The issue was the sound level of JBL Extreme was "extremely soft / low" once the link was established. Both SB450 and Extreme speakers volume level are linked so if I crank up the JBL Extreme to proper level, the JBL SB450 will be extremely LOUD / distorted (may be even potentially damage the SB450.) I worked with JBL TechSup who was incredibly helpful and technical and especially thorough to go through several configurations. In the end, the TS concluded that the issue can't be resolved. I had high expectation of the "linked" feature hence I was disappointed, and I had to returned the JBL Extreme :-(

Great modem/router combo...

Very easy to set up. Very fast router. Dual band WIFI is super.

Love it! For its good price, compact size, and limited casting functions.

I had just played with the unit for less than half an hour. I love the ability to cast YouTube, NetFlix, and the likes. Very user-friendly. I wish more contents can be casted though, i.e. any pictures, videos that are playing on my mobile device. Typical use case would be seeing my phone's pictures and videos on the big tube. Unless I'm missing out this feature altogether?
