good for some applications

this is very specialist piece of equipment and will not allow your M42 lens to focus out to infinity , very good for close up work, but if you are going to use it on say a Helios 44-2 or 44 for portraits m you will be very disappointed, as the focus goes out to about 2 or so meters and on a 58 mm that will produce a compositions that is very tight
