Works great on me 2005 Mazda 3s 2.3l. I previously cracked the plastic oil filter housing and didn't want to deal with this type of filter anymore. Thankfully this adapter exists. I'm a novice, it was easy to install. Undo 1 sensor and 4 bolts. Clean threads on bolts, put a little plumbers tape on sensor. Reinstall sensor on this new unit, put the metal gasket between the engine body and this hosing, screw everything back together.
