Tons of retro cool, lovely quality as you would expect from a company who have been around for so long.

A work of art and tone from God !
The quality of these Japanese Gretsch's is beyond doubt - as good as you get. I already have a G6129T-57 [Silver Jet] with dynasonics, that I love.I always coveted the G6134T penguin and finally pulled the trigger on this G6134T-58VS which has the TV Jones classic [Filtertron] PU's as standard.
It has taken a few weeks to tweek the setup and I have to say it is hard not to be distracted by all the "bling" on this instrument - but it sounds awesome.
I have been playing through a Supro Delta 12, and a Tone King Imperial Mk2, the breakup is progressive, touch senitive and organic sounding.Outstanding shimmering highs, clear crisp bottom end - almost single coil-like.The best of both worlds.
Sounds great clean, distorted, and every where in between.
