Mounting and Wiring Easy-Plenty Loud

Already had one Ford E150 service van that came with this same unit installed on it. It was working great and looked like it was easy to mount so I ordered one for an E250 I had just purchased that did not have a BU alarm on it. On the E series van it can be mounted with one bolt in an existing hole on the drivers side by the spare tire and rest on a channel. Wiring was a breeze. It picks up ground through the mounting bolt. Tapped into the BU light wire at the bulb on the drivers side for the positive side. There is a gap covered with foam in the tail light assembly mounting cavity. Peeled some of the foam out, ran the wire through it to the BU Alarm. Works great and is plenty loud. If you are standing close cover your ears or move away.
