Buy cheap, buy twice
I thought these could only be good but they didn’t fit tightly and stay on the door panel, then most of them shattered the first time I tried to remove them.
Not really fit for purpose, but I’ve sold the car - someone else’s problem now.

But elsewhere
The ad Isn’t very honest - It doesn’t mention that it’s supplied it with a black, fitted surround, the same as supplied by Jaguar, but it does show it fitted in the picture. It doesn’t come with a surround. I had to gently prise the surround off my old mirrors, I’ve glued them in place with the best glue I could find, I’ll have to hope they hold.
The mirror also comes fitted with tiny 2.8mm electrical connectors, so I also had to fit smaller connectors to the car.
Another small thing. The glass came wrapped in bubble-wrap, which had all stuck to the exposed back of the heater elements. Doesn’t seem to have shorted the elements out, but there’s not a lot of attention to a good sale for a firm that sells thousands of these mirrors. I’m just hoping that means I haven’t wasted my time and money.

Worth the upgrade or new install
This was an upgrade from an Apple TV gen 2. The change was much more of a quantum leap than I expected - user friendliness is greatly enhanced (automatic cut in to fill fields Using an iPad/iPhone instead of clunky remote), better access to Apple Music now iTunes is removed, and overall it’s just like having an iPhone interface in a TV box. There’s a wider choice that includes music, streaming channels and an App Store interface.
I don’t think Apple have yet ironed out all teething problems, so we have had some recurring glitches. But, it’s worth that small pain for a much more usable and friendly media centre.
