    Incredible quality!!
Extremely durable water bottle. I have 2 that I keep in the ATV box bouncing over steep Rocky "expert" trails in my work for the Forest Service. My life literally depends upon these water bottles 40 miles from the truck!

Better than most- decent size knob on vise
When received, there was a foundry casting defect that was very sharp (should have been ground off before painting by the foundry workers). After a few minutes of whacks with my 3 lb. ball-pein hammer the sharp edge was mostly rolled over smooth. A few more minutes with a good sharp flat file and it was smooth enough to run my finger over without getting cut or scratched. Then I hit it twice with my tool marking paint. It's not all pretty orange now but I didn't want rust either. Aside from that little 3/4" casting problem, the quality of this Forester Stump Vise looks to be equal or better than many more expensive vises currently listed on ebay. Plus this has a decent size knob (similar to a Jeep CJ or old Land Cruiser windshield fold-down bolt) and this fits a man-sized hand much better than the dinky little thumbscrew on many other brands of vise. This has made it much easier to sharpen my little 14" electric saw which I used to have to chase around with a file in my hand, wrestle it with my legs and feet, etc. My 24" Husqvarna is heavy enough that I really don't NEED this vise, but I'm sure it will make things easier (and likely a LOT more accurate) there too. I'd be sure to get a stump vise with this bigger knob (I paid about $8 more than for an Ironton vise with the dumb little thumbscrew) whether it is this nice compact Forester vise, or the bigger "Extreme" Heavy Duty 7 inch Forester stump vise which I just saw this morning on eBay for about $10 more than I spent on this smaller orange Forester. The big knob is a VAST improvement (especially if you are working with gloves on which you should always be working with chainsaws anyway). Finally, this is compact enough that I can stash it in my Husqvarna PowerBox where it can rattle around with all my other helpful chainsaw goodies.

Very Nice, Rugged Phone with Many Features
The ruggedized (Mil-STD-810F) Motorola i580 "flip phone" has a very bright, high quality 176 x 220 pixel display. The ringers and speakerphone are very loud (as with most rugged NEXTEL phones). The push-to-talk and the Direct Connect off-network "walkie talkie" features, in addition to the GPS location are the main reasons I wanted to try one of this i580 phone. The 1.3 megapixel camera is nothing to write home about (although I have never seen a cell phone camera yet that I considered decent), and it is convenient. I didn't order micro SD card(s) for the i580 yet, so I really haven't tried the MP3/multimedia player out much. I have read that the i580 will only recognize 1 or 2 GB micro SD cards (and will NOT recognize the newer SD-HC format cards). The songs probably sound better with headphones than from the speaker, but I haven't tried music with headphones yet (and the ringtones are in a mono format:) "It must be in this MP3 format. Bit Rate: 32 kbps; Sample Rate: 8 000 Hz; Channels: 1 (mono)" http://forums.mobiledia.com/topic57631.html I have owned a few of the (nearly bulletproof) rugged i355 Motorola with similar features (Java ME, GPS, PTT, Mil-STD-810F), but the display on this i580 is much brighter and nicer than the smallish 130 x 130 pixel i355 display. I would still rate the i355 as the toughest phone that I've ever seen, and it has a very large battery with 1450 mAh capacity, but the battery life has been very good so far with the i580's much thinner, lighter BT60 1100 mAh #SNN5782B battery. I don't think that the i580 will take an extended or maximum capacity battery like the i355 (which will take about 4 different batteries depending upon your battery cover size). Overall, the i580 is a very nice, durable flip phone.
