Another hit from Fannie Flagg

I haven't finished reading the book yet but it's clear it's another hit from Fannie Flagg. Her characters come to life as does the area they're in. Ms. Flagg is a wonderful storyteller who always grabs my attention. She captures the best of the South without sugarcoating anything. She's a treasure that I've been in awe of since I was young. I grew up in BIrmingham and am familiar with the Whistle Stop Cafe and the surrounding area. Anytime I have guests from out of the state and out of the country they want to go there; to visualize what they've read about. I'm not very far into the book but it already has me living with the characters. I don't believe it's possible for Ms. Flagg to write a bad book. Whatever ride she wants to take me on in her book I'm ready and willing to go. I adore her and love reading her books.
