great little door
I used 2 of these to make a pass thru sewer hose container. I had to modify the back end by cutting the back off to accommodate a 5 inch pvc fence post from Lowes. Note 5" post fits over the extended back of the compartment door perfectly on 3 sides and I had to modify the 4th side. All the other hose pipes I found are too small to accommodate the hose with fittings. I include pictures for reference..
Also switched to key lock so I wouldn't loose my hoses by accident. Locks same keyway as existing and I re-keyed to match other compartments key. Important note: if you are doing the fence post thing also, make sure to block any openings in the side of the fence post to keep mice etc. out.
