A useful reading lamp

Well packed and very easy to assemble. Quite elegant black chrome finish, good quality construction and stable. It makes a very good over the shoulder reading lamp but it is not suited to illuminating a work area on a table because it is too high, causing glare, has limited adjustment and it does not swivel on its base. It has the ubiquitous floor switch, which can never be reached without perilous contortions! It is very good at what it does! I will, eventually, replace the hot G9 capsule with an LED bulb.

Stable high output

I am using this to power seven fixed CCTV cameras. It runs cool and and provides a stable, well smoothed DC supply. It is very well constucted internally and has a massive aluminium heat sink. Connections are standard with a euro mains connector and the usual coaxial 12 volt connector. Highly recommended.

Debateable

It may have some effect, but I have the odd strand of web over three out if five cameras after only a few weeks and it is expensive! I will reserve judgement, but it certainly not as good as it thinks it is!!!
