Classic black comedy
As the protagonist murders his way to a dukedom (with never a visible drop of blood), we never have to mourn the victims--because every one is played by Alec Guiness! A classic dark comedy. (Aside: the director, Robert Hamer, was both gay and alcoholic, so, like the hero here, he knew how to keep secrets!)

Ingenious algorithms
This is the publication from the group at IBM Research that I was a member of. The algorithms are clever, and can handle large numbers of Boolean variables in realistic circuits. My personal contribution was to recode one of the algorithms into Fortran, and gain a speedup of more than 5x. I hope someone is still using it.
