Good build quality, very poor water quality result.

Unfortunately the taste of the water is terrible. After over 10 cycles, the plastic taste gets worse and worse.
It also measures anywhere from 7 to 9 on a TDS meter - distilled water is supposed to measure 0. I improved the taste slightly by tossing an activated carbon pellet in the boiling chamber while distilling, however I don't feel like I should have to continuously buy those just to make the water taste decent.
Pretty disappointing. I may have to just bite the bullet on a brand name like MegaHome, or go with an auto-fill unit. I wanted this to work out, but I can't deny that the water just tastes bad. I had a $50 plastic unit in the past that performed better.

Amazing OST. Overpriced but its an import so I get nice. Very nice 4-CD jewel case and booklet.
