A love triangle with a bad boy and a good boy tryng to stay with the girl.
It's an artsy movie with Rose McGowan and alot of cuss words coming out from her. Unfortunately, the movie ended not so happy. Note: Jordan Ladd from Club Dread was originally offered the female lead in this movie but her mother Cheryl Ladd (Charlie's Angels) had vetoed it. I know why now!

The original female prince and the pauper type movie.

Miriam Hopkins did a better job as a livelier rich girl than Loraine Day did in "Bride by Mistake" but The Richest Girl In The World did not have a more well rounded ending as Bride by Mistake. Note: Miriam Hopkins did pass on one movie at the time that she thought was just a silly comedy which she eventually regretted It was "It Happened One Night." The movie she passed on took best picture, best actor (Clark Gable) and best actress (Claudette Colbert). But after seeing The Richest Girl In The World I could see that Miriam Hopkins would have done fine if she did It Happened One Night instead of Claudette Colbert. Now on to the "French Line" the next remake of the same story.
