Follow The Dutch Army's Doomed Resistance In May 1940
It really is an interesting book regarding the Dutch Army's resistance against the Germans in the 1940 invasion. I wish they had more maps and diagrams to help with the narrative. I don't know if the small size of the book justifies the price, but then it is an out-of-print book on a narrow & specific topic. As such, it will rate a high price, even for used books. All-in-all, it's a very good read, thanks!

1 von 1 finden das hilfreich A concise, clearly-written description of the many varied badges and rank insignia of some of the major combattants of World War 2 (Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, Poland, and Belgium for the Allies; and Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy for the Axis). Fully 90% of the drawings depicting the badges and insignia are in full-color, with the remainder in black-and-white simply because that's how they appeared in real life. This book, along with its companion Book 2 (featuring France, China, Japan, the Netherlands, and Yugoslavia among others), does a fine job of providing readers with an overall look at what distinguishing badges and insignia were used by the national armies of the war. There are also companion volumes (one each) by this author illustrating the Naval and Air Forces of the major combattants of the war, as well. All in all, this book is a fine introduction to the set.
