Made in Dagenham- a thought provoking film
This is a film based on an incident at the largest Ford plant in Europe. The women who sewed the interiors for Ford struck for higher pay in response to the company down grading their skill rating. Bob Hoskins is brilliant as a union organizer recruiting Sally Hawkins (great performance) to represent the women in their work stoppage and negotiations. Very funny and touching dialogue. Well cast and directed. I've seen it several times and it stands up!
