A solid performer
I had been thinking of buying a Marantz 63 Mkii KISignature, but when a 20 year old CD player goes for £180 at auction, I thought this was way too much for a simple revival of my den hifi system and lowered my sights. My CD6000 OSE came for £60 and without a remote and I have been very pleased. It weighs far more than expected, the tray action is the smoothest and quietest I have seen and in short it oozes quality. The sound it provides is excellent and although I am no hifi purist, it has made other parts of my system the weakest link, so new speakers are now on the shopping list. Performance on studio reference headphones is outstanding.

Revelation
We'd always cleaned the grease filters on our Belling range cooker, but only recently discovered that there were two odour filters, so the originals had been in place for 10 years. The OEM replacements were £30 each and are supposed to be replaced every 6 months. So these were a godsend alternative. Very happy and very effective.

Light and powerful
My lead acid gel battery was 18 months old when it started to struggle on the back 9 of my golf course, which is quite hilly in places. Torn between another and the expense of a lithium, I opted for the lithium and was very pleasantly surprised. Much, much lighter it eats up the course with plenty to spare, and if it lasts 5 years then it will be a real golfing deal. The only thing is that I have to remember to take it off the charger as it does notwork on the trickle charge principle of my old battery. Not an inconvenience and it saves on power consumption too.
