Nice item, looked more dirty in real like and I managed to clean most of it off but I think I need to give it another deep clean, other than that it's in great condition and it's a nice set piece great item, I'm sure in the future this will be a hard item to come across, good communication from seller all round excellent

Decent replacement

I bought this to replace an existing Pipercross cone filter that had started to gain rips in the foam. I had this in my watchlist for some time before it started ripping as I had seen their price and what people had said about these filters. My car had been off the road for a small period due the bolt on the torque restrictor sheering off and whilst I waited for the parts to arrive I also ordered this. After fitting and the car is back on the road I couldn't detect any difference in audible notes or induction noise which may be because I previously had a cone on there and not the original kit. As for performance it does feel a little bit more "pokey" than the old filter. I was occasionally able to borrow my girlfriends 1.25 MK6 which was my old car so it's nice to go back to my car again with new parts :). Would I buy again for a different vehicle? Yes I would, they also make filters for bikes too. Happy days.
