Does the job - just be patient.
Was sceptical at first but thought it was worth chancing £10 on a replacement battery as opposed to spending c. £100 on a new Kindle. Following the guidelines on a YouTube video, I opened the Kindle to begin the replacement.
I was concerned at first as the replacement didn't look big enough.
Be patient in getting the external plastic cover off.
Getting the battery cover off was a bit of a challenge as the tools provided for the two small screws were not the correct size.
After some very helpful advice from local electrical stores and my local Halfords, it was established that the size of the two tiny screws are "Hex T5" ( no, it didn't mean anything to me either) but so long as you have that tool you're away.
The external plastic cover, the battery cover and also the battery itself were all stuck down but with gentle persuasion they were all separated sufficiently to enable the replacement battery to get installed.
So, this product is well worth purchasing, so long as you have some patience and the correct tool for the two tiny screws.
