Bringing good, old Zeiss (and Yashica) lenses to the Canon world!
The lens mount adapter for Contax/Yashica (CY) lenses to Canon EOS does what it is expected to to - it mounts a CY lens firmly onto a Canon EOS camera, firmly and securely. The lens will work as it did in the old Contax/Yashica time - with one or two minor exceptions: The lens will not keep it's lens apterature open until the moment of exposure, and will not transfer the aperture in use to the camera. This does not bother us using the electronic viewfinder of modern Canon cameras, but will of course result in a dimmer viewing image, if you choose an aperture much smaller than the maximum aperture. The second caveat is the dismount procedure - the release lever of the adapter from the CY lens is small, and only possible to operate, once the lens adapter is removed from the camera.
Even with those small caveats, it's a very nice adapter, bringing new life to the very good indeed optics of the Contax/Yashica era.

Beautiful yellow-ish light.
This bulb works very well indeed - little heat, quite a lot of light, with a distinct yellow-like color. Has been in use for some weeks now, and still happy with them.

Prima! Top-notch Contax (Zeiss/Yashica adapter for Sony NEX-cameras (Alpha 6500 etc.)
Definitely a high-end well crafted and functional product. Tight fit, good blackening of the inside, which is well constructed to stop any reflections
