Stripey bobble beanie hat
We have volunteer ladies who knit such hats for deprived children's shoeboxes through Samaritans Purse which boxes are collected and distributed to areas where children do not have such privileged presents as we in this country. This pattern is very clear and I was very pleased with it.

Light Aluminium Metal Pencil Sharpener. I do shoeboxes through Samaritans Purse and these are absolutely ideal to include with pencils.

Dear or No Deal - Interactive DVD Game
19 von 23 finden das hilfreich I am a great fan of the show....but I did not enjoy the DVD game. It looks as if it has been put together by a two year old. Noel introduces the scene. Then there are a couple of seconds black screen apart from the fact that mostly he is cut off on his final word and not allowed to finished his sentence properly. Then you get the boxes. Fine. You want to choose No.11 to open. How long does that take? Believe me a long time. Starting at No.1 you click forward, black screen, then box No.2 appears. Click forward, black screen, then the next box and so on. It is very laborious and ludicrous how long it takes. The dialogue of the contestants is so limited it is unbelievable. There is no variation as they say exactly the same comments when you press the button for advice. The crowd scenes of cheering or groaning depending upon whether good or bad figures irritate. They come in, after the black screen, suddenly very obviously cued in a fraction after the camera is on them and stop abruptly, making it feel so false.
For a modern day game, when other DVD interactive games flow smoothly and do not let you scroll continuously through blank black screens every time you move, I feel it is very poorly put together, probably in a great rush to try and get in for the run up to Christmas.
Such a shame, as the actual game itself is good. Did the makers play the game themselves before they put it on the market? I very much doubt it, as they would have realised how laborious they have made it and worked on a much better presentation. Whoever allowed the final release on this particular game wants their head examined. It just does not match up in standard to the other popular DVD interactive games on the market. I was extremely disappointed with it.
