Transcribed by world renowned Dr. George Lamsa, whose native language is the dialect Holy Yeshoo spoke, this is the most accurate translation available. Unfortunately, it seems someone's estate (possibly someone related to the original publisher?) owns the copyright, so you'll be lucky to find a used copy in good condition. The one I received is in amazing condition and the price was truly fair. Lamsa translates 4 Gospels directly from ancient Aramaic texts. I also suggest his other books that explain the local customs and idioms, without which it's truly not easy for a Westerner to understand Holy Jesus's parables and even many other aspects of teachings. If your heart has ever said, "Holy Jesus couldn't have said that or acted that way..." chances are you're right and something got lost in the translation of the popular version you've been reading. Your faith will be truly uplifted.
